to the Chapel Project page.
We are in an exciting adventure to purchase and
remodel the Chapel at 195 Mahoney Ave in Oak View.
That Chapel was first built in the 1930’s and
has gone through multiple revisions and additions
since. For
decades, it has been a place where people would come
to learn, experience life changes and receive hope.
We believe there remains a future for this
facility for continued outreach into this community.
We feel privileged to be part of that.
We would like to invite you to join us in this.

Thank
you so much for your ongoing petition and
intercession on behalf of this church and outreach
into the community. I am so excited to
proclaim with you that God continues to bless
this work and, by His goodness and grace, has gone
before us throughout this transaction that we are
affectionately calling "The Chapel
Project". And now it is my privilege to
announce to you that WE CLOSED ESCROW yesterday.
Yes, that's right. When you woke up this
morning, June 1, our church family, Calvary
Chapel of the Ojai Valley are the owners of the Chapel on Mahoney & Apricot. This is a
huge step through the door of this new season
in our ministry. I would like to congratulate
all of you who have stood in this in prayer and
faith-filled action. God has directed your
faith and inhabited your prayer. This is just
the beginning yet what a wonderful start
it is. Now we will be able to refocus some of
our energies elsewhere. The remodel will
go further into full swing. We will focus prayer
and attention on both the physical maintenance and
the financial stewardship for the monthly payments
and debt reduction.
