The Men's Ministry of Calvary Chapel of the Ojai Valley is focused on helping men grow in their God-given roles and to encourage and exhort one another toward maturity in Christ.

Our desire is to provide men with the opportunity to grow in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ by applying Biblical principles to the issues that are important in the lives of men. We do this by offering teaching, fellowship, and other activities that will draw men closer to God and closer to each other.

Our goal is to help men mature spiritually by grounding them in God's Word, by providing opportunities to build relationships with other men, and by offering ways in which they may serve the Lord.

Battle Groups are forming for the Fall

What Battle Groups are all about?

The Bible describes the spiritual battlefield and our enrolment as soldiers in the army of God.   We represent the Kingdom of Heaven as ambassadors of truth, righteousness, grace, and love in the name of our commanding officer and military chief, Jesus the King of kings.  As men, we are to be fully equipped and engaged as victors in Christ.  Battle Groups are a biblically based tactical strategy to win as men.

Training - Service - Commitment

Training - Each man is to be equipped in spiritual and tactical training to win in the battleground of his own life by the power of the God through Jesus Christ.

Service - Each man seeks to apply his training in service at church, in the community, and at home.

Commitment - There is a commitment to the members of your battle group that requires your time and trust.  Each man will learn to "be there" for the others to help bring support and strength, encouragement and accountability, to help ensure that every Battle Group member is successful and that failure is not an option.
